Multi-Piece Prostheses

Multi-unit prostheses are screw-retained prosthetic systems used in all on six or all on four dental applications where implants are limited. Occlusal screw implant solutions prevent the long-term negative effects of the materials used in bonding the coatings to the implant. By the same token, multi-unit prosthetic systems are an important solution for cases where vertical expansion is limited. Multi-part denture systems are most commonly used in cases of complete edentulism.

Advantages of Multi-Unit Abutments

The duration of treatment is shortened
This ensures that the temporary prostheses are screwed to the implants on the day they are placed.
Aesthetically better results are achieved.
