Stainless Steel Crown Treatments
Stainless steel crowns are used when the baby teeth or teenage teeth are not strong enough to hold the filling. Stainless steel crowns are cut by the dentist to fit the child’s teeth and attached to the tooth with a strong adhesive. As these are made of very strong material, the risk of breakage is almost zero compared to a normal filling. It will protect the tooth until the baby teeth fall out. The only disadvantage of stainless steel crowns is that they look like metal. When the milk teeth fall out, no new extraction is necessary because they fall out with the tooth.
